A Seat Is Saved for You!
  Morning comes earlier and earlier....
and the crowds at the doors of Anderson
are getting smaller as well.
  The Wednesday morning keynote gave us a full plate to consider. What
does it mean to "love our enemies?" How do we understand the
"room the table" for all? The small groups will be doing
something special before worship tonight. Since this is FREE AFTERNOON
day, worship will be later than usual. The small groups will meet at 7:00
p.m. and worship will be at 8:45 p.m. Tonight's service will be a
candlelight vigil around Lake Susan. It should be great.
  We took our free time to venture over to the Asheville Mall. The girls
all looked for any clothing bargains that might be found, the guys picked up
some of the latest tunes from the Dave Mathews Band, the advisors found a sofa
and we all enjoyed a food court supper.
  The
worship on Wednesday culminated in a special candlelight vigil around Lake
Susan. It was awesome! We sang songs... we lit candles from the
Christ candle... we remembered those who did not have a "seat at
Table" and prayed for them.
