"God's Hands"
 It
rained all night! It was hard to get up with the gentle sounds of the
morning rainfall. But there was still one keynote to go... so off we
went. Most of us agreed that the rain was a direct result of our having
done the "Rain Song"
yesterday
during the morning singing. Our song leaders informed us that so far they
have done that song five times and in each instance, it has rained the next day!
Keynote finished with a brief review of each of the daily themes
and a final challenge to live our lives letting God use our hands to do God's
work in the world. The rains continued (some lost power the night before)
through the morning, but it was gentle reminder of the way God rains down
blessings upon us.

 It
was hamburger day at the Glen Rock. Mmmm! The fries were tasty,
too. The food sure has been a lot better this year. Next year's food
situation is still uncertain.

One thing is certain... the brownies that Miss Jean prepared for
us were outstanding! Through the week she has washed our clothes, fixed
cookies and brownies, stayed up with the sick (only minor issues, thankfully)
and been a great friend to all. THANKS MISS JEAN!
We look forward to the final worship service tonight. It will conclude
with a candlelight service around Lake Susan. It's always a memorable time
as we reflect on the week and bid goodbye to the conference.

Candlelight around Lake Susan
Tomorrow it will be pack up, clean up and hit the road! But not before
our final Pizza Party in the Jordan Place tonight. Mmmm!
